I'm Coach Anika, Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer from Life Time Weight Loss. For the last year we have been building and continually improving a new program to help people jumpstart fat loss in a short period of time.

This program, D.TOX, is designed to compliment everything else you are doing at Life Time to become a stronger and more powerful person.

Unlike failed diets of the past, this D.TOX helps you experience what we call metabolic weight loss. This is cutting edge weight loss that does not have you restrict how much you eat. Rather, we have you make a series of small shifts in what you eat.

We do this over a 14-day period, and we run the program via email, just like the one you are reading right now. No meetings, totally private. We encourage you to do this as often as you like.

The average weight loss has been a little over 5 pounds during the two weeks of the program. These results happen for many people because a simple metabolic shift happens in your body. You start to store less fat, and burn more fat.

Our D.TOX program is an email-based program led by me, Coach Anika. The science is a little complex, but the basic idea is that the system leads to a hormonal rebalancing, which speeds up weight loss.

Weight loss may not be a primary goal for everyone, but what we are finding is that when people lose a little weight, they become motivated for new goals. One member who just completed two D.TOX programs and lost 15 total pounds said her goal now was "Getting leaner and stronger overall."

In fact, many people who had some success said that getting stronger was their next goal, and that D.TOX was a great "tool" to help them get many benefits other than weight loss.

Another man who lost 9 pounds added this "I felt peaceful. Better sleep. I have restless leg syndrome. After about three days on the detox, I slept with no symptoms almost every night. It was great!"

I ate so poorly before starting the detox, that at the beginning I had horrible withdrawals, but after the first 2 to 3 days I started to feel a lot better!
